Introductory Lesson

Welcome to Alan Keane's Art School.

This is designed as a complimentary introduction to Alan's signature Portrait Drawing Course entitled "How to Draw a Perfect Likeness".

NOTE: My reference to a 'tapered stroke' in the video is not explained so here goes: "A tapered stroke is a line which fades at either end of the stroke so that the lines blend perfectly as they meet each other across the page or object you are drawing. I use the analogy of an airplane gently landing on a runway and then taking off again so the full weight and impact is in the centre of the runway!"
